Care2talk provide a low cost counselling service in central Uxbridge. Our aim is to ensure that anyone can access counselling when they need it. We provide counselling for all members of the community, from aged 16. Our services are based on Integrative, CBT and Holistic models.
All Care2talk counsellors are covered by our professional indemnity insurance and are required to be members of a professional counselling body ie: BACP – British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, UKCP – United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists. Our counsellors will abide by the BACP/UKCP code of ethical practice and Care2talk’s policies and procedures.
Our counsellors work with a wide range of issues including: Anxiety, Infidelity, Bereavement, Bullying, Depression, Family issues, Low self-confidence, Low self-esteem, Separation and divorce, Stress and Work related stress issues.
Counselling can help if: You feel worried, Stressed. Lack self-esteem, Self-worth and Self-confidence, You have experienced Bereavement, Loss or Trauma, You find relationships difficult, You would like to understand and make sense of your situation.
We offer a safe and contained environment for you to increase your understanding of patterns in your relationships, increase your self- awareness and explore your feelings and concerns.
The therapist does not give you advice or tell you what to do but reflects back with the aim of increasing clarity and understanding. The therapist will aim to help you make your own choices.
We also offer a separate service for men and women who are suffering from or, have suffered from domestic violence/abuse. Our domestic violence counsellors undergo intensive training to understand the dynamics of perpetrators and impacts on victims, (including children).
